James has been a working professional guitarist for over 20 years. He is an educator, session player and live musician. James started as a professional “ Pit musician” playing in the orchestra of productions touring the UK . 

As an educator James has taught guitar at Plymouth university and other faculty’s of learning. He also teaches lessons worldwide to aspiring professional players and recorded the Audio for the UK’s “Rock School” guitar curriculum for 24/25 the leading educational course in the UK for guitarist. 
 
As a session player James has performed for many artists and worked with the BBC both on sessions and in their live room. James has also been  a demonstrator for a number of high level guitar amp effects companies . 

James’s  real passion is playing live though and he’s played many prestigious venues including the London O2 
He has played venues all over Europe and North America and has recently returned from south America. He will be touring the UK later this year with the Blondie Experience the UK ‘s number one tribute to the iconic Debbie Harry Band . 
James style blends Rock, Fusion and Funk and he needs a versatile instrument to carry that level of versatility . Shijie guitars give him the ability without limits to perform in any of the musical genres he gets called on to play.
